Gajar Ka Halwa (Carrot Pudding)

Gajar Ka Halwa (Carrot Pudding) - CANEZO

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups grated carrots
  • 1 cup Desi Shakkar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

 

Instructions:

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, add ghee and grated carrots.
  2. Cook for 10–15 minutes until the carrots soften.
  3. Add milk and cook until the milk is absorbed.
  4. Add Desi Shakkar and cardamom powder, cook until the halwa thickens.
  5. Garnish with nuts and serve warm.
