Ingredients:
- 1 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons desi shakkar (jaggery powder)
- 2 teaspoons loose black tea or 2 tea bags
- 1/2 inch ginger, grated (optional)
- 2-3 cardamom pods, crushed
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
- Add grated ginger and crushed cardamom pods, and simmer for a few minutes.
- Add loose black tea or tea bags and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add milk and bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea into cups.
- Stir in desi shakkar until it dissolves completely.
- Serve hot.
